Milo Thompson, D.Min., D.D.

Milo Thompson is the founder and President of ChristWay Ministries. He is serving pastors, church congregations, lay-leaders, missionaries, and educational settings through writing and an itinerant ministry of preaching, teaching, conferences (local, regional, and statewide), seminars, and retreats, along with one-on-one consultations, coaching, and friendship with ministry leaders. He spends large blocks of time in various parts of the country and overseas each year, making him accessible to any ministry situation desiring his services.

Milo's previous ministries have included pastoring for nearly 30 years in New York and Pennsylvania, churches small and large in rural and suburban settings that were plateaued or declining but became healthy, growing, dynamic churches. He also served for 15 years as the President of Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, which moved from decline to the cutting edge of college and seminary ministry education and the achievement of record enrollments. More than seventy-five percent of those graduating each year became involved in ministry careers, with twenty percent pursuing missionary efforts overseas. In addition, Milo has served on the boards of various para-church ministries such as church associations, mission agencies, and year-round camping programs, which enables him to understand and serve such organizations.

Having been raised on a large dairy farm in upstate New York, coming to salvation in Christ Jesus after high school, Milo then began to sense the Lord's call to full-time ministry. His formal education involved studies on the Bachelor level, Masters level, and Doctoral level, with the latter degree being awarded at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Dearborn, Illinois. In addition, Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, awarded him the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity.

Dr. Howard Bixby is the Executive Vice President of ChristWay Ministries. He is deeply involved in assisting churches and pastors with strategic planning, training seminars, consulting, and helping develop churches with a passion for Biblical outreach and growth. He has practiced what he teaches. As an adult Sunday School class, Adult Bible Fellowship, and Home Bible Study teacher for over 40 years, he has seen multiplied hundreds of people enter the church through his classes.

God has blessed the practical nature of his ministry. The principles he teaches are applicable to any situation or size church.

Dr. Bixby's ministry experience enables him to bring insights, encouragement, and change to churches. In his 19 years as a pastor, his church grew dramatically and developed a worldwide impact. While he served as Seminary Dean and instructor for 22 years, Baptist Bible Seminary likewise developed and grew dramatically. His ministry philosophy prioritizes the "Great Commission", dynamic Biblical leadership, and life-changing discipleship.

Howard and his family have lived and ministered in both rural and city settings. Howard and his wife, Carol have four children and their spouses and seventeen grandchildren. The two sons and a son-in-law are in pastoral ministry as well. Family values are a very important part of the Bixby's leadership perspective.
